Membership and Training

 

Membership of The Executive Guild of Toastmasters & Towncriers is open to all those who qualify to the high standard of the Guild.  For those wishing to become Professional Toastmasters training can be arranged.

 

Aims and Objectives

 

The executive Guild of Toastmasters & Towncriers is an association of Professional Toastmasters, Masters of Ceremonies and Towncriers who officiate at functions of all types where correct etiquette and procedure is required.  Members have undertaken formal training and practised skills prior to being invited to membership of The Executive Guild of Toastmasters & Towncriers.

 

The Executive Guild of Toastmasters & Towncriers was founded in 2007 by Peter York Past Deputy President of the Guild of International Professional Toastmasters to promote and maintain the highest standards of professionalism amongst its members who are based throughout the country.

 

The Executive Guild of Toastmasters & Towncriers seeks to promote the engagement of qualified Toastmasters and Towncriers for all functions large and small informal and formal..  Each member to promote their individual activities.

 

Objectives of the Guild

 

1)  To promote the highest standards of Professional Toastmaster / Towncrier expertise and adhere to the rules of         

        etiquette and correct procedures.

 

2)  To ensure members conduct functions in a dignified manner, to be polite, respectful and co-operative at all times.

 

3)  To present oneself in an immaculate and well groomed way at all times.

 

4)  To offer assistance to other members of the Guild when requested

 

5)  To show fellowship and tolerance to opinions of others and behave with kindness and understanding to fellow  

        Members.

 

6)  To ensure compliance with current Health and Safety legislation.
